Google reveals new apps and timeline for Android

Google has finally released an updated version of the Android software development kit, and revealed a timeline for future releases - moves which could go some way to placate developers who were concerned about the slow progress of the company's highly anticipated smartphone OS.

Let's see what happens when the product is available to the consumers. Then we will have the opportunity to see how great Android truly is.

So...will Android be an OS

So...will Android be an OS that users can replace their existing OS ( Win Mobile, Symbian etc ) with, by downloading from Google ?

Or will it only work with specific handsets designed for it ?

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.
