My, my, my aren't we
My, my, my aren't we throwing around the word "terrorist" lightly these days? Maybe we should stop and attempt to define that word before utilizing it. Before jumping to any quick conclusions, stop and think about what these people do....these "hackers" are uncovering information that is desperately being attempted to be hidden (by people, governments, etc.) that is our right as citizens to be aware of (whether we like the contents or not). I suppose most of us wouldn't want our personal information leaked out to the world, but then again we aren't attempting to run the "most powerful country in the world". As a teacher, I thank them for the education. We should all be so lucky to have someone following up on the constitution and the true ideals of freedom of thought, speech, religion and knowledge of government and the myriad other freedoms we all take for granted and expect our government to just hand over to us. Maybe if more "secret" documents got out we wouldn't have to recall with horror the holocaust, Watergate, the Iran Contra Affair, Armenian genocide, the suffering in Darfur, etc., etc.

The fact that Sarah Palin was using a Yahoo! account is almost neglectable in light of the fact that Anonymous members were illegally cracking the email account and deliberately spread private and government information on the internet, on top of all endangering the safety of Palin's family. No "public interest" exists for this, and their doing was just plain illegal. Anonymous is known for illegal and harassing actions for a long time.

There seems to be a few misconceptions here. First some act like hackers(Black Hats) really care if what they do is illegal. Second some act like hackers don't communicate between each other. Finally there is the person who thinks this was all a sham.
To answer:
First Black Hat hackers have so called illegal websites all over the web typically hosted outside of the U.S. or any country with strong anti-hacking laws. These sites do include user names and passwords for both privte and business emails as well as private companies LAN and WAN sites.
Second hackers of all levels communicate via the afore mentioned websites, online forums, and other means.
Third only someone that has no clue would call something a sham when the evidence says other wise. Logic dictates truth and facts. Illogical statements usually gets one laughed at.
