I agree. If the only thing that changes is size, then the device is completely pointless. The only way that this idea could even take off is if there was some special thing that the iPhone Nano had and the iPhone 3G didn't, or vice versa. Personally, I'm happy with the iPhone's current size. Typing on a device that small would be painful.

The Keyword here is rumors although I'm not a Mac fan and haven't been in years due to price and Apples refusal to License to any other Manufacturer to build or use their OS, but the iPhone in its current state creates enough issues with readability any smaller is unusable. Rumors, take with a grain of salt and throw in the trash. And by the way Blackberry isn't any better in this department.
