Wow, it's more expensive than the mini, physically larger (in that it won't fit neatly onto my TV stand), plus runs Vista? And it gets 2-star reviews from various uses? I think I'll pass, thanks.
The one advantage is that it does have an HDMI output, I suppose -- it'd be nice to not have to mess with a separate audio out.

A cheaper alternative to Dell
I'm in the same situation as the author. I was also anxious to get a mini as media center for my new, big, full-hd, LCD screen. The current mini will not play 1080p (by looking at the specs). So I was waiting for a new one with GeForce graphics. But nothing was announced so I'm looking at alternatives.

A bit of a waste, not as nice as the mini, but the specs look good.
