Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.

Good idea, but not sure it scales
Since the newer models are generally more energy-efficient, you might not be saving much. Especially if converting the old ones drives a lot of help-desk calls or non-productive time from the end user while their PC is down.But still, perhaps a good short-term stop-gap.

I completely agree with that this is nothing more than a gap-closing measure. For us, we'll go this route simply to extend ourselves into budget years that are not quite as challenging as this one.バッテリー
