I have calculated the end of the countdown
According to my calculations, if you divide the amount left to reach the goal of 1,000,000,000 apps, you have to calculate that the rate of apps being downloaded goes up at about 100 downloads every 1.5 seconds (estimate). If you calculate that amount to how long it would take, I approximate that it will reach 1,000,000,000 in 28.695 hours or so which means that it might reach it at 9:00PM April 22, 2009.Note*: This doesn't calculate the fact that there might be an overflow in people when it reaches 999,500,000 or higher because that could change that stats by about an hour or two or more.
