Twitter... meh
While I've not fully explored the whole Twitter thing I did create an account to experiment. I find Facebook to be a much more compelling application. The status updates are nice but by themselves are anything but a killer app. It's only when it's combined with the photos, notes and wall-to-wall that I find it really excellent. I could do without the quiz results and other apps ("so n so flung a ham & rye at you..." = groan). The other thing about Twitter is I've not been able to find a way to fine tune the stream. I want to follow some people for their professional stuff, but I don't care about each meal or b.m.. My tweets (all 2 of them) have been announcements to real content like a new blog post. Because, as this comment suggests, 140 characters isn't enough for me.
