every single thing you talked about here i found for absolutley free at stormota, or app world...free in call screen lock, free sliding phone lock, free vib and ring (with led flashy awesomeness), and quick pull lite that DOES work on my verizon storm...other than that, spot on research...

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.
