The worst thing that can happen to teens in Junior Acheivement is for them to follow in the footsteps of the management of HP. HP's treatment of employees is an illustration of the most irresponsible business practices and should earn them a special place in Hell.Where’s the Social Responsibility in this Business??
Financial performance = investors are asking HP’s lead… so where do you plan the 20,000+ job cuts we need?Social responsibility = 30,000+ sent home without a job… and no end in sight…
Environmental excellence = Greenpeace claims that HP is near the top of their list for still using toxic materials in their products..
Innovation = Top management take 20% cut in their base (not touching their millions in bonus’s), while offering or forcing there employees to take a 5-10 % decrees in their base pay.
