Get Siri to give you directions from Google Maps with this key phrase

December 21, 2012, 2:57 PM — When Google recently redesigned and re-released its Google Maps app for the iPhone/iOS, we all cheered--because this maps and navigation app just works. However, to get Google Maps to work with Siri for directions, you need to know the lingo.

Although you can jailbreak or use other tweaks/apps to integrate Siri with Google better, Jailbreak Nation demonstrations all you have to do is say "via transit" at the end of your request to Siri.

So, for example: "Siri, take me to the closest Apple Store via transit" and you'll launch directions with Google Maps instead of the wretched, potentially fatal default Apple Maps.
