Create an email list from all of your Gmail messages

A handy tool for anyone who does email newsletters or email marketing campaigns

If you have any sort of mass email project planned (e.g., a newsletter, an email marketing campaign, a Gatsby-like summer party) and use Gmail, this little utility could come in handy.

The Sender's List from Digital Inspiration extracts email addresses tagged with a particular label (or in a folder). The script saves the extracted email addresses into a Google spreadsheet so you can download it as a CSV file or input it into your emailing program.

To use it, you'll need to create a copy of the Google Script and enter the name of the Gmail folder (label) you want to process. Once you set the script to run in the background, it'll start working and send you an email when it's done. As a bonus, duplicate emails will be automatically removed from the list.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem the script appends names to the spreadsheet (at least yet. Hint hint, Amit.) But you can extract emails from other Gmail labels by making another copy of the spreadsheet and repeating.
