Launch Google voice search with a few keystrokes

Keyboard shortcut ninjas know that keeping your hands on the keyboard rather than switching to the mouse is one of the biggest, most time-saving productivity hacks. Voice control is another. Now you can combine both with this keyboard shortcut to search Google using your voice.

The Google Operating System blog points out this hidden feature. While you're on Google.com, hit CTRL + Shift + . (yes, that's a period) or CMD + Shift + . (period) on a Mac.

Google Search will start listening and anything you say will turn into a search query.

Easy peasy. CTRL + Shift + period.
