I write for a number of websites, and, for one reason or another, people like to comment on the posts and chime in. That's great--only, often the responses are just...nutso.
I'm not talking about your garden-variety troll with deep-seated hangups and spewing vitriol. Rather, it's these strange, effusively praising comments that are over the top. Clearly they're posted by robots (or people who have taken robots as a second language) who want to get their links onto as many pages as possible. But, still, I think if you have nothing productive to add, might as well do it this way.
Here are a few of my favorites in the last week, as examples:
