Developer Tools You Don't Use – And Why You Don't Use Them

Developers regularly reject (or just don't think to use) entire categories of programming tools, even if they aim to improve application performance, security, or maintainability. For example, according to analyst firm Evans Data, 25% of North American developers never use a load and stress test tool and 22% never use data modeling tools. Where Google Chrome security fails: the password
I heard mention that the Chrome OS will have some sort of encryption available a la bitlocker. If it's possible to encrypt personal data using another password or key, then it may have potential for very secure data.... And Ubuntu has an 'encrypt home directory' option, perhaps google should follow suit.
