I was thinking of teaching myself how to build mobile apps. I was going to try iOS at first, but I don't want to have to learn Objective-C from scratch just to get started. Since Android apps use Java, which I am at least familiar with (although far from accomplished) I though that would be much easier out of the gates.

Have you suffered from coder’s block? How did you break out of it? Do tell.

Jonathan Ive, correction, SIR Jonathan Ive, Apple's senior VP of industrial design made reference to what Apple is working on now, and called it "the most important and best work we've done." That is saying something coming from a guy who worked on the iPod, iPhone and iPad. Any ideas what it could be?

Is there a good way to learn how to develop Android apps? My 16 year old son loves his Android and has expressed an interest in learning how to make apps. It may be a passing phase, but once he is interested in something, he tends to stick with it.

Hi.. I am trying to write an application for asynchronous event handling in mac os x.. it should be similar to iwevent.. could anyone please tell me what is the equivalent command of iwevent in mac os x.. can i get the source code of it as i have iwevent.c.. or can anyone tell me how to proceed with that..

We are thinking of writing a Windows Phone version of an application we originally developed for Android.  There are limits on the amount of time we can spend on this, but this would be the first Windows Phone app that any of us have ever worked on.

Hi.. I am trying to analyse the wlan driver code for mac os x snow leaperd and lion .. what is actually the difference between those.. i could only find the difference in the ioctl frameworks not other than that.. could anyone tell me what exactly the difference between those..
