Sony reveals new Reader, e-book borrowing service

At the New York Public Library yesterday, Sony revealed a new high end model of its Sony Reader series, and announced a partnership with OverDrive.com to facilitate borrowing e-books from libraries.

Plastic Logic is to Barnes & Noble as Kindle is to Amazon

Barnes & Noble announced a major push into the ebook space yesterday, including a partnership with Plastic Logic which makes B&N the "exclusive eBookstore provider" for the Plastic Logic e-reader.

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.
