File Syncing Services Keep Your Laptop Up-to-Date

The biggest downside to using multiple computers is that your files can be scattered across them, making it difficult to know where a particular file is at any given time. It doesn't need to be this way, though, because there are plenty of options for synchronizing files and information.

Evernote Adds File Sync

Evernote is one of the many online services that let you store digital information in an organized way and access it through your browser. All the buzzwords apply, such as Web 2.0, Software as a Service, and “freemium,” which means they offer a free and premium version. They also just added file synchronization with live update, which puts them toward the front of the pack among similar services. But you do have to step up to the premium version, which is understandable.

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.
