Cool Kinect hack: 3D effect [video]

March 15, 2011, 12:33 PM — Oliver Kreylos is a researcher at UC Davis who has done some remarkable work with the Kinect. Kreylos has a proof of concept working with two Kinects hooked up simultaneously to produce a 3D video effect. If you have some 3D glasses hanging about, check out his video below.

Kreylos has tremendous ideas for the Kinect, including an interface with the Kinect and the Nintendo Wii. From the looks of his enthusiasm and methodology with the Kinect, Kreylos is someone to watch.
