April 07, 2009, 7:48 AM — Here we go with another morning of fun Apple speculation, as the Apple Store is down for updating.
So what's going to be new and shiny when it comes back up? Best guess among the Apple aficionados seems to be a two terabyte Time Capsule. iTunes got an update to 8.1.1 yesterday, though. Could that indicate some minor refresh of the iPod line? Seems too soon for that. Engadget speculates it could be an ION based Mac Mini. To me that seems too "big" to slip into the retail stream so quietly, but we'll see soon enough when the store comes back online.
[UPDATE: It was a refresh of the XServe line. I was way off on this one!]
