There's a special place reserved for the stalwart hardware that many of us have depended on day after day, year after year. Or at least, we believe there should be a special place -- which is why we present you with the InfoWorld Hardware Hall of Fame. (Find out how we selected the inductees for the InfoWorld Hardware Hall of Fame.)

I like many of your choices but the list has some older technologies which I believe should have been included such as: The original Apple II, The Osborne (first truly portable PC) the Hayes Smartmodem, and finally the SUN "workstation" rather than the SUN server. All to the aforementioned systems revolutionised the industry; Apple brought the computer "home", Osborne made the computer mobile, Hayes introduced wide area networking to many users and SUN ushered in the era of low cost, high powered computing systems.
