Austin-bound!

By Josh Fruhlinger  Add a new comment

South by Southwest Interactive has been described (by the organizers, admittedly) as "spring break for the creative class." I'm only a few hours away from hopping on an Austin-bound plane, and I'll be there all week bringing you reports from the show!

I'll be on of the panelists on "Why Keep Blogging? Real Answers for Smart Tweeple." If you're interested in the place blogging has -- or what it even means to be a blogger -- in a world where Twitter and Tumblr are all the rage, I hope you'll get yourself up Saturday morning to come see us!

Many of the events I'm most keen on are on how the Internet and social media are transforming the political landscape. I'm very keen to see "Media Armageddon: What Happens When the New York Times Dies," for instance. I'm also interested in anything iPad related and shots fired in the brewing Flash-HTML 5 war. I'll be putting quick updates on this blog throughout the show, so watch this space! And if there are some panels you think I should know about, or just want to meet up to chat, feel free to email me at jfruh@jfruh.com, or contact me @jfruh on Twitter. Hope to hear from you!
