August 14, 2012, 4:31 PM — This video was posted three years ago, but some other sites have picked it up recently to show how smart some people were in 1995, at the beginning of the Internet's boom.
As part of a public service announcement, a bunch of fifth grade students talk about what the future of the Internet would look like, and why it was important (back then) that people get Internet access. And wouldn't you know, one of the students even talks about cats (I would have died if someone had predicted the importance of bacon as well).
These fifth graders would now be about 26 or 27 years old now, so I'm sure most of them are using the Internet exactly as they predicted. Or maybe they're blogging about the Internet.
