August 06, 2013, 7:01 AM — It's time once again for your weekly "Name That Noise" episode - every Tuesday we present a new mystery sound from the world of technology, geek culture (video games, science fiction), or some other random noise from around the world that you're likely to recognize.
Sort of a tough one this week - it's not really from the world of technology, but if you were a kid on the '70s and watched a lot of TV, you most likely would remember this sound effect.
