Squee alert: House of Cards Season 2 trailer

Binge-watch on Valentine's Day weekend with this Netflix hit

A few weeks ago, Netflix released a teaser trailer for its streaming drama, "House of Cards," but only really announced the Feb. 14, 2014 return date.

The company has now published a longer trailer, featuring a TON of more drama for Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), his wife (Robin Wright) and all of the other political characters in this fantastic show.

WARNING: There are spoilers in the trailer if you haven't yet completed watching Season 1 (including me, I so need to catch up).

The excitement from the InterWeb about this show and other Netflix streaming shows (including "Orange is the New Black" and "Arrested Development") shows how much the company is now a major player in creating original content. With more people cutting the cord from their cable service providers, DirecTV is reportedly looking at creating an online video service of their own that could compete with the likes of Netflix.

Will more people realize that Netflix and online viewing of TV programming could be a money-saving way to get rid of their cable service? It should be an interesting Valentine's Day weekend next year when Season 2 launches.
