May 11, 2009, 10:17 AM — Just after the death of composer Maurice Jarre, 22-year-old Irish sociology student Shane Fitzgerald inserted a fake quote into Jarre's Wikipedia article. He expected to see it repeated on a few blogs, but was shocked to find in popping up in reputable newspapers throughout the world.
