Mythbuster star's Twitter gripe makes $11K phone bill go away

Adam Savage spent a few hours surfing the Web with his cellular broadband modem across the border in Canada -- only to receive an $11,000 bill from AT&T at the end of the month. But after complaining about the injustice on Twitter, the telecom behemoth quickly saw the error of its ways. That just goes to show that Twitter can help you out of a tight spot -- assuming you're a celebrity TV show host, like Savage, with tens of thousands of followers.
