Your Wall Street Journal? It wants to have the very best sourcing on what your next iPhone is going to look like, and it usually succeeds.

It’s no secret that Apple and Google have the kind of relationship that touring bands have with Ticketmaster: an aspiring artist with a thinly veiled contempt for the company that has all the right connections.
  • With BlackBerry 10 on the horizon RIM launches last-generation Curve 9320

    Posted May 10, 2012 - 3:05 pm

Research In Motion on Wednesday released the BlackBerry Curve 9320 smartphone proving that despite the promise of BlackBerry 10, the company hasn't lost its ability to offer handsets that are well behind the times. The latest Curve looks like every keyboard-centric Curve that came before it (just a little bit sleeker) and offers specs that don't even come close to what you can get from an iPhone, Android device, or even a $50 Windows Phone. If you're in the market for a new BlackBerry smartphone this is not the handset you want and here's why.

  • 5 essential iOS apps for photographers

    Posted May 10, 2012 - 7:50 am

My friends call me a camera snob because I prefer digital SLRs and typically turn my nose up at camera phones. But lately, I've fallen in love with my iPhone's camera; more and more, I find myself snapping photos with my phone. One obvious advantage that a smartphone like the iPhone has over a traditional camera is portability. I've always got my iPhone in my pocket, while my Nikon often languishes at home. But another great advantage is apps: It's easy to add new features and capabilities to your iPhone by installing a free or inexpensive app. To do the same thing with a traditional camera, you'd need a degree in electrical engineering. Last year, I told you about five reasons photographers should love the iPhone. The apps I mentioned back then are still great, but this week, I've rounded up five more iOS apps that I highly recommend.

Each case ships with two such caps, so you have a backup in case you lose one. The back of each case is anodized metal that reflects trippy patterns in light, and multiple colors are available.

Back when I had a morning commute, I would often pop in some earbuds before hopping on the bus and rock out to one of the many tunes on my iPhone as we rode through Chinatown. The problem, of course, came when I reached my desk mid-song: Did I pause and try and find the song on my Mac's iTunes library?
