Apple's decision to drop the 8GB iPhone 3G price from $199 to $99--the 16GB version will also get a price reduction from $299 to $149--represents an unprecedented move from the Cupertino crew. A $99 iPhone is actually affordable.
Apple on Wednesday started selling its iPhone 3G online, the first time in a year that consumers have been able to get their hands on the device without making a trip to an Apple retail store or buying from AT&T.
Out with the old iPhone, in with the new? So it appears at the AT&T Wireless site, where a refurbished 16GB iPhone 3G is now selling for a suspiciously low $149.
Where Google Chrome security fails: the password I heard mention that the Chrome OS will have some sort of encryption available a la bitlocker. If it's possible to encrypt personal data using another password or key, then it may have potential for very secure data.... And Ubuntu has an 'encrypt home directory' option, perhaps google should follow suit.
