Let this robot massage your head

Panasonic develops dry head spa robot

By

These days, nothing that comes out of Japan really surprises me anymore, especially when it comes to robots.

Including this news (courtesy of DigInfo News), in which we see a Panasonic-developed prototype for a dry head spa robot. Of course, I had no idea what a dry head spa was, but apparently in Japan people go to these places to have their heads massaged. But now you can have a robot do this - not only in a spa, but they're looking to add this to things like bathtubs, massage chairs and a desktop model.

I guess it's only natural that Panasonic developed this, as they already had developed several hair-washing robots for salons.

Come to think of it, I could use one of these at my desk while I'm writing these blog posts.
