And, I think in today's business environment, it's a lot more fast-paced, and particularly with the Web, business being conducted over the Web, you have the ability to change the conditions, to change the rules, change pricing, change offers, in a much more rapid fashion than, say, you could during a time when you sent out a mailing by direct mail once a quarter to your customers. |

Well, and training too, I would imagine, which costs money, I suppose, but that has to be factored into the cost. But I think even after all that, from what you're both saying, is a fairly strong ROI statement that can be made to cost justify these new investments, provided, as you've both pointed out, that there is a good link between, 'this is technology as a means to an end' and the end is making this business run better. |
