Christopher Nerney answers Re: What is proper etiquette for using personal social media accounts to promote your company? If it's that much of an annoyance to you, I'd drop her from the social networks you both use. You describe her as an acquaintance, so it sounds like she probably wouldn't be personally offended. Also, if she's that out of control, you will be far from the only one cutting her off.3 weeks 5 days ago

Christopher Nerney answers Re: Why are people freaking out about people taking photos with Google Glass? True, everyone has a camera-enabled smartphone these days, but the vast majority of these people don't walk around as if they're about to take a photo or video of you. The few people who actually do that are annoying and usually told to stop. I think if you're out in public, your expectations of privacy have to be reasonable.4 weeks 2 days ago

Christopher Nerney answers Re: How do you respond to a job interviewer that asks to see your social media activity? What's next, your tax forms? A list of people you've slept with? Your voting record? I agree with you -- private means private. If an interviewer can't get an idea of whether you'd be a good fit through an interview and reference checks, someone else should be doing the interviewing. Companies don't own you.4 weeks 5 days ago

The last I heard was that Google hoped to be shipping the commercial version of Glass toward the end of the year. With Google Glass Explorer Edition (the beta version) just now going out to 15,000 early testers and developers, it's too early to tell if Google can ship by year's end (assuming that's the plan).
