Audible for Android in open beta

By Peter Smith  1 comment

Just a quick public service announcement for Android fans. Audible.com has its Android audiobook player in open beta. In order to give it a try, you just have to join the Audible for Android Beta Google Group. You'll have to put your phone into 'developer mode' (a simple setting switch) and normal Audible charges do apply.

I haven't tried it myself (I have a hard enough time keeping up with my podcasts without adding audio books to the mix) but Phil Nickinson over at Android Central has a generally positive quick look up (his biggest complaint is that you have to purchase audio books from a computer, then download them from your phone).
