BlackBerry Storm vs. iPhone 3G: 8 Reasons to Pick the Storm
You've read my reasons to choose the iPhone 3G over the BlackBerry Storm. Now check out the flip side.
[ For more smartphone comparisons see: Apple iPhone 3GS vs. Palm Pre: In Real Life ]
The following eight points argue why RIM's new touch screen BlackBerry may be better suited for your needs than Apple's uber-popular iPhone 3G.
8) Stereo Bluetooth Capability
With the iPhone, users still can't listen to their music collections via Bluetooth, wireless headsets--at least without buying a third-party adapter--because the device doesn't support Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) technology.
That means wired headphones are a must when using Apple's smartphone to listen to music in stereo.
BlackBerry smartphones have supported stereo Bluetooth for quite some time, and the Storm will be no exception. If you just forked over a significant chunk of change for a snazzy new pair of wireless headphones, or you've had your eyes on a set, you may want to choose the Storm over the iPhone 3G so you can employ the headphones along with your new handheld.

Where Google Chrome security fails: the password
I heard mention that the Chrome OS will have some sort of encryption available a la bitlocker. If it's possible to encrypt personal data using another password or key, then it may have potential for very secure data.... And Ubuntu has an 'encrypt home directory' option, perhaps google should follow suit.

Anoter me-to cheap knock off
One reason not to pick Storm (that trumps all your other reasons): user interfacePlus iPhone is just so cool!
Storm Sux
The storm compared to the iphone 3g is like comparing chuck steak to a filet mignon. For a true comparison you can't rip either phone only list the facts and let the information prove itself. The Storm:
- 520 mHz processor
- 3.2 MP camera
- ClickTouch tech. (or whatever)
The iphone 3G
- 620 mHz processor
- 2.0 MP camera
- touch screen
The iPhone 3G is a far superior phone. The app store gives the iphone 3g limitless possibilities. the next opstical you would have to over come is to jailbreak it. This gives you every option you would ever need for a mobile device far surpassing the blackberry storm.
IF YOU ARE STUCK IN CONTRACT with verizon and your phone is broke (casue you aint got a sim card to swap phone with (double gay on verizon's part)) then upgrade to it becase as far as verizon is concerned this sad atempt at an "iphone killer" is your best option!
iPhone Sucks
I had an iPhone for awhile, the only reason you think it's cool is because the media says its cool. It's a terrible PHONE, you can't run two applications at once, receiving email blows. The only reason the iPhone needs wifi is because Att's 3g sucks. So it's either be in crappy 3g "network", or drain your battery. While, I will say that the looks of the iPhone are definitely still better than any phone out there, for all practical uses the iPhone is one of the slowest, most buggy phones I have ever dealt with. People that own iPhones now are either recent customers who have not realized how bad it is, or just too superficial to give up the iPhone status. Apple should have stayed in the MP3 player department!!!
