    Just so you know...Verizon now says they will unlock the Omnia and Touch Pro's GPS sometime in the first half of 2009.

    Why would Verizon lock the GPS so only their slow software works with it? I want to use google maps, and they prevent it. Ridiculous. Wake up verizon!

    Not sure which model Omnia you were looking at but the US Verizon version is not a GSM-compatible world phone.

    By far the specs of the Omnia are great!and it is super slim and weight only 123gr.Phones more than 140gr, you start to feel your pockets down.
