Verizon releases first iPhone commercial [video]

Let the Feb. 10 countdown begin!

Verizon Wireless has released its first commercial for its model of the iPhone via its YouTube channel. The phone was announced last week, and is set to go on sale to the public on Feb. 10, 2011.

The commercial features a bunch of ticking clocks and little dialogue, other than a voiceover thanking its customers who "never stopped believing this day would come." In other words, "Thanks for not switching to AT&T over the past four years."

I'd expect to see a bunch of more commercials as the Feb. 10 date gets closer.
