January 25, 2012, 5:37 PM — Here's how you can name your iOS folders based on the actions you do with the apps inside of them. This is a much more logical way to organize your folders and their apps than by the default categories.
1. Tap the icon of the folder you want to change and hold.
2. When the icons start to wiggle, tap the folder again to change the name.
3. The folder's menu will come up and you can click the name field to rename it.
4. You can name folders by actions such as Write, Read, Connect, etc.
5. For example, instead of having a Games folder you could have a Play folder.
Once you get the hang of naming folders for actions instead of categories, it makes it much easier to organize applications inside of them.
