February 07, 2012, 5:42 PM — Here's how you can add some formatting to your email if you're using iOS 5. You can bold, underline or even italicize text in your emails.
1. Open the mail app on your iOS 5 device.
2. Tap the icon to create an email.
3. Type in your text.
4. Highlight the text you want to format then click the arrow on the right of the menu that pops up.
5. Tap the bold, underline or italics icon to format your email text.
