Even Batman has issues with Apple Maps

Making fun of Apple Maps with parody videos is the new thing

By

So, it's been a few weeks since the iPhone 5 came out with the new Apple Maps app in iOS 6 (instead of the more awesome Google maps), but we're still seeing videos making fun of the application's inability to get people to their proper location.

In this video clip, the Dark Knight has a few issues while riding the Batbike (or Batcycle?) to try and save his girlfriend from the Joker's bomb. (courtesy of movieclipsTRAILERS)

The channel has also produced some other parodies - in this one, for example, Jack Nicholson's character in "The Shining" is having a hard time getting around the hotel and wilderness:

And for the kids, we have Katniss trying to find her way around "The Hunger Games", thanks to Apple Maps:

I'm sure we'll see a lot more of these videos as people try to come up with other pop culture memes that are associated with people getting lost or traveling - might I suggest Lord of the Rings and Doctor Who, people?
