Change Chrome App Settings in iOS
Here's how you can make Google's Chrome browser automatically open Google apps on your iPad, iPad mini, iPhone or iPod.

1. Update Google Chrome to the latest version.

2. Go to Settings.

3. Go to Google Apps.

4. Set the toggle switches to the On position for the Google apps you want Chrome to use.

Google's Shot Across Apple's Default Apps Bow
It's clear that Google is taking an incremental step toward replacing Apple's default apps in iOS. It's interesting that Apple approved the latest version of Chrome for iOS, given these changes. In the past Apple has not looked favorably on having the default iOS apps changed by anybody.

Users Deserve Control of the Default iOS Apps
For those who use Chrome and prefer Google's apps, this is a great option to have. Users really should have the option to replace default apps system wide in iOS, but this is at least a first step. Perhaps Apple will get the hint eventually and add such a setting to the Settings control panel.
