By , ITworld |  Mobile & Wireless, osx mavericks

Here's how you can see which apps are draining your battery in OS X Mavericks.

1. Open the Activity Monitor.

2. Click on the Energy tab.

3. Check the Energy Impact and Average Energy Impact sub-tabs.

The default energy impact view is for applications run over the last eight hours. However, you can change this by doing the following steps:

1. Open the Activity Monitor.

2. Click on the View link in the menu bar.

3. Click on All Processes.

Now you'll see a longer list of applications and processes.
