Block phone calls, text messages and Facetime on your iOS device

How to stop calls and texts from your contacts on the iPad, iPhone or iPod

Here's how you can quickly block phone calls, text messages and Facetime calls on your iPad, iPhone or iPod.

1. Open the Phone app.

2. Go to Contacts.

3. Select the contact that you want to block.

4. Scroll down and tap on the Block This Caller option.

That person will no longer be able to call, text or Facetime you.

But as with any device, there are tips and tricks and shortcuts that can help you get more from your iDevice investment. Here, in no particular order, I'm going to rattle through a list of tip and tricks that will help you be more productive when using your iPad and iPhone, whether you use it for work or play.
