How to change the “3D” screen appearance and zoom in on iOS 7?

The new iPhone 6 is great, but the way the icons shift and float in space messes with my eyes and actually makes me feel a little dizzy. It reminds me of my son’s 3DS when I first looked at the 3D effects. I can deal with it, and probably could get used to it, but Is there a way to get rid of that display feature?

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I've tried restarting phone and changing http to "auto" on connecting. And, I DID go through the update when it came out, but have not had issues with getting mail until a couple of days ago.

I’ve sideloaded a number of apps that were officially incompatible with my Android phone, with mixed results; sometimes they actually work fine, sometimes I get to spend some time with Titanium Backup to restore the device. I’m ok with this, and realize I risk bricking my phone, but it is old enough that I don’t mind taking the chance.

Carriers use a 2 year contract to lock customers in each time they get a new device, although there are options with most carriers that allow you to upgrade before then. Of course, they will charge you something for it, and lock you into another 2 year contract.

I have an LG Optimus, and after changing my WiFi settings to keep it on even when the phone sleeps as a colleague suggested, my battery life has improved noticeably. This seems counterintuitive to me, but the results are obvious. Why would leaving WiFi on improve rather than degrade battery life?
