My daughter has a handheld game system that doesn't support WPA security for wireless connections. How would you set up a wireless network to allow it access without throwing security out the window? It is WEP compliant, but I would just as soon not have my wireless network security downgraded from WPA2 to WEP.

How do I fix this?

I had planned to go to the Open Networking Summit back in October, but some things came up that made it impossible. I just saw that the next SDN is scheduled for April 2013. I was wondering if anyone attended last time, and if they so, would recommend taking the time to go in 2013?

I've heard some buzz about OpenFlow/SDN being innovative and I know that there is a lot of support, but to be honest I'm not really sure what is all that new about it. I know the architecture is different, but HOW is it different, and what is the benefit of that difference?

The latest Cisco firmware update for my Linksys Router pushes me to use Cisco Connect Cloud to access admin functions. Ummm, I didn't have any problem using admin functions before, but ok....I guess. However, the TOS agreement then makes me agree not to use my router for "obscene, pornographic or offensive purposes." What!?!?

I understand that 802.11ac Wi-Fi will be faster than 802.11n. Will it offer any other advantages, like increased range or new security standards that will be noticeable to users even when they aren't streaming Netflix to their Androids at the office. One of our interns likes to stream Sgt.

One reason for my head scratching is I still don't really know what "tuples" are despite doing a couple of searches, none of which provided a straight-forward explaination of tuples in firewalls?
