3D HDTVs are practically here, which means 3D videogames should be making a slow creep into the mainstream soon enough. A new Nintendo DSi Ware game, however, doesn't need any fancy polarized LCD screens or expensive shutter glasses to make those eye popping images come to life. Clever use of the DSi hardware's mechanics and that quintessential MacGyver spirit proves 3D can be achieved on almost any device, if you try hard enough.

On Sunday, April 5th, Nintendo rolls out its latest iteration of the Nintendo DS, the DSi. It offers a bunch of cool little features (including two digital camera lenses, internal storage, and SDHC card support)--and it manages to look and feel even better than the Nintendo DS Lite. So, the question remains: Do you drop $170 on this new gaming handheld?

Living in Sweden is not the best choice for those who want to be first to get a hold of the latest gadgets. We have a good health-care system, free university studies and five holiday weeks each year, but what do those benefits matter when you have to wait for the latest phone or music player?

October began, as it always does, with Japan's biggest electronics show: Ceatec. The show attracted a little over 196,000 visitors who got a chance to see the best of the Japanese electronics industry, including some exciting new prototypes of devices that are still some way from hitting the market.

The newest addition to the Nintendo DS family, DSi, has clearer sound quality and a surprisingly sharp image quality when in photo mode. That and the fact that users can have much more fun with software on the DSi may be enough reason for Nintendo to entice consumers to snap up its latest handheld game console.

With less than a month to go until Nintendo's new DSi hits the shelves of Japanese retailers, gamers in the rest of the world are wondering when they might see the revised DS. Nintendo hasn't given a clear answer to that question but indications are that it won't be going on sale outside of Japan anytime soon.
