Josh Yates from Destination Truth took a trip with his team into the Himalayas and the first time they went they found a perfect footprint that they made a cast of which caused a worldwide stir a year ago (2008). This year (2009) they went back for a longer trip and caught the creature on a thermal imager and found a large hair sample from a tree when the creature tried escaping from them. The sample was anaylized by a DNA expert and it was determined that it was from a very large primate and according to the DNA report it's of an unknown species which may lead credence that the animal does exist.
