Rutan Voyager takes flight

Departing California's Edwards Air Force Base on Dec. 14, 1986, the Rutan Model 76 Voyager required nine days and three minutes to become the first aircraft to fly around the world without stopping or taking on fuel. Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager were the pilots.
