Disney blog marks 15-year anniversary of wildlife park

Next Monday marks the 15th anniversary of Disney's Animal Kingdom Park (it opened on April 22, 1998).

To help mark the day, the Disney Parks blog/YouTube channel has posted this cool time-lapse video marking the construction of the Tree of Life, the centerpiece of the park. Considering the costs of time-lapse video equipment 15 years ago, it's pretty impressive that they did this.

These days, video gear is less expensive and easy enough to do time-lapse videos (I've even captured time-lapse footage on my own using a specific camera built just for that purpose). Note to anyone building anything - capture time-lapse footage - it's always awesome.
