Weekend catch-up: Star Wars trailer re-cut with blooper footage

Star Wars videos are the gifts that keep giving

By

Hey folks, happy Monday! If you were out raking leaves or enjoying your families, you likely missed this Internet video that got posted.

Spawned by the success of the recent video that showed never-before-seen Star Wars bloopers, we now get treated to this video, courtesy of Slacktory, in which an old-school original trailer was re-cut with footage from the bloopers. It turns a classic Star Wars trailer into something that seems bizarre, or maybe more like a Mel Brooks movie. Either way, it's well worth watching.

What do you think? What other trailers should be re-cut with bloopers? It seems like there'd be a plethora of possibilities out there.
