Squee alert: More Hobbit footage released

New sneak peek, global fan event videos posted on YouTube


If you're counting down the days to the release of the second Hobbit movie on Dec. 13 ("The Hobbit: THe Desolation of Smaug"), here are a few more videos to keep you squealing with delight until then.

Warner Brothers posted a new sneak peek video with some additional footage from the movie, seen here:

In addition, the company held a live event on YouTube yesterday, in which Anderson Cooper from CNN hosted a discussion with fans and makers of the film. If you have a free hour or so, check out the archived footage here as well (skip ahead to the 12:30 mark to see the beginning):
