February 12, 2009, 9:12 AM — Kamani Hubbard was born with an extremely rare mutation: six fully functional fingers on each hand (and six toes on each foot for that matter). It's almost certain that this mutation is the next step in human evolution: the 12-fingers will be able to outcompete the rest of us in crucial typing and text-messaging tasks, rendering 10-fingered humanity obsolete.
